Tennis program Network Mission Statement
The goal of the Tennis program Network (Tennis League Network) is to connect passionate and responsible tennis participants with each other to get exercise out on the tennis courts through an actively managed service.
How does the Tennis Partner Program go?
The Partner Program is a different program from the league and has been operating in all the cities since 2008. In this Tennis Partner Program, participants meet up to play a match, but the results do not lend to any broader program or league standings. players will be required to submit results; the results will be used to define both participants’ ratings after several matches. This will ensure that players are partnered with participants of their similiar skill level. participants must submit a match result at least every 45 days to keep the program active. The Tennis League Network administration will monitor no-shows and late cancellations and withdraw participants who perpetually break these rules.
How does the Tennis Tournament play?
The tournament will be a single elimination tournament where participants are assured at least 2 matches. players will have a calendar week to play each match. So a participant involves to have a open schedule over at least first 2 weeks of the tournament. A fourth of the players will be ordered dependent upon their previous program experience. New participants will not receive a rating and will be put into the pool for semi-random draws. The league holds the right to fudge the first round draws to allow for playing locations. We don’t want players from opposite ends of each city playing each other in the first round. The players who lose the first round match will be placed in a secondary bracket.
