The Various Accessories to Help You Fish for Carp

Filed under: Uncategorized @ 12:18 am

Fishing for carp is a really enjoyable past-time since these fish are rather clever and very cautious. Nevertheless, with a bit of trickery, you can lure carp and trick them into biting onto your hook. The following are just a few useful tips to help you with your carp fishing:-

  • For particile baits, add a big quantity of salt, particularly the cooked ones like tares, hemp, maize, beans, maple peas and partiblend seeds. Carp enjoy salty food. Approximately, mix a single tablespoon of salt to 5 litres dry particles. These are also good cheap baits to use!
  • When the water is cold such as in the winter, experiment with casting your rigs a little more often, and pinpoint various areas in order to set a hook bait near to the carp. The colder water slows down the movements of carp thus there’s a lesser opportunity for the carp to swim towards your hook. In the summer, you can lay traps in likely patrolling areas and simply wait for the carp to take the bait.
  • Add high sources of vitamin C into your bait. Mix your method with fruit juice like orange juice and not water from the lake. Also experiment with dipping fresh boilies in fruit juice so as to to give that distinct relish.
  • If you’re careful about overfeeding the swim, then experiment with breadcrumb groundbait with only the attractants added, but with particle baits NOT included. This draws in the fish without filling them up.
  • Lastly, make sure you have the right fishing gear with you. Research what you should bring online. You can find all kinds of things online, such as Carp Bivvys – and make sure you enjoy yourself!
